January 30, 2022: JANUARY VISIONS at the Church of the Holy Trinity

STSC presents an evening of dazzling Renaissance polyphony by Renaissance genius Orlandus Lassus, from the daring and otherworldly harmonies of the Prophetiae Sibyllarum, or “Prophecies of the Sibyls,” to the liquid counterpoint of the Missa Osculetur me, based on Lassus’ setting of a text from the Song of Songs, in the rich yet intimate acoustics of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Binghamton.

April 24, 2022: APRIL HORIZONS at St. Patrick’s Church

STSC explores new horizons in choral music featuring the world premiere of Zanaida Stewart RoblesMass for unaccompanied choir, commissioned especially for STSC through the generous support of Visions Federal Credit Union, as well as music by an inspiring array of living composers including Kathleen Allan, Jocelyn Chambers, René Clausen, Adolphus Hailstork, David Hurd, Morten Lauridsen, and Dale Trumbore, all in the majestic architecture and sumptuous acoustics of St. Patrick’s Church in Binghamton. Linger after the concert to meet the composer!
